Free Comic Book Day is an annual promotional effort by the North American comic book industry to help bring new readers into independent comic book stores. Normally one single day, the COVID-19 crisis of 2020 forced the organizers to rethink the event protocols and instead most store owners offered a Free Comic Book Summer.
Learn To Read Comics is teaming up with AWA (Artist Writers & Artisans) to present their iPOP! online comics series, Monster Me, providing meaningful stories and lessons packaged in a bright, fun and humor-filled world that kids will gravitate toward.

Fanboys and fangirls may not be traveling en masse to San Diego for Comic-Con this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, but the confab is set to swing into people’s homes like Spider-Man with its very first virtual edition, dubbed Comic-Con@Home. The event will take place July 22-26 and is free.
